Village residents are reminded that there are two charities which exist for the good and benefit of all who reside within parish boundaries. The first of these is the

RELIEF IN NEED CHARITY

The monies held in this account may be disbursed at the discretion of the trustees to anyone in dire financial straights. Each case is treated on individual circumstances in the utmost confidence. Any person who believes that they may qualify for financial assistance may telephone or write in the first instance to the Chairman of Trustees at the phone number / address below.

TOWNS BRANCH CHARITY

This charity exists for the good and benefit of all village organisations. Any such organisation may apply for financial assistance by writing, in the first instance, to the Chairman of Trustees at the address below.

The Trustees meet twice per year in November and March to discuss business and to consider applications for grants. However requests will be considered at any other time during the year, particularly for Relief in Need.

Residents are reminded that these charities are there to be used and everyone is encouraged to take advantage where the requests meet the appropriate criteria. Total confidence is assured for those in need.
