Precalculus

This course provides an in-depth study of trigonometry along with the study of analytic geometry, matrices, probability, and algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions and their graphs in preparation for a course in calculus. Precalculus is strongly recommended for students anticipating careers in science, medicine, engineering, business or mathematics.

The textbook used was: Pearson Prentice-Hall Precalculus Graphical, Numerical, Algebraic Seventh Edition ©2007.

On-line Solutions:

The Slader website provides detailed solutions to most of the problems in our textbook, which is Precalculus Graphical, Numerical, Algebraic Seventh Edition. Note: This is a third party site and I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the solutions. It is ad supported, and you will need to sign up for a free account to see full worked-out solutions.

This is the list of formulas used in the Precalculus quizzes. The list will be expanded throughout the year as you learn more formulas.

This is the collection of trigonometry formulas that are used in the trigonometry chapters of Precalculus. I will give you a paper copy in class, but I have included the link here in case you need these formulas for future classes. After you click on the link above, select "file" and then "download" before printing a copy.
