The Gives Hope ministry began with a growth group from EastLake Church looking to live out their obidience to God through service to their community. Seizing an opportunity to help the Rock Church with their Church Without Walls ministry at Balboa Park, we helped prepare and serve a full course turkey & ham dinner to our less fortunate neighbors on Christmas morning. Seeing the great need within our own local community, our ministry has started a Church Without Walls service here in Chula Vista. Together with members from other churches, the Warriors4Christ small group, the Breakfastclub Smallgroup Ministry, we as the body of Christ work together to minister to our neighbors in need. Explore our site and find out what we've done, how we help and the difference this has made to others.
Matthew 25:37-40
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
