Welcome to Gislanka where you can find way as old adage of saying "picture represents thousands of word" I am pretty sure that you like the maps just like me. I have given some samples on this hope you can play with that. I have started working with ArcView 3.2a and till ArcGIS engine. There are many more maps like you can make similar to Sri Lankan Districts.
