In collaboration with the group of Jiri Sponer we performed a computational study on the folding mechanism of DNA hairpins which are participating in the formation of telomeric quadruplexes. We used molecular dynamics and extensive parallel tempering simulations. The manuscript has been accepted for publication on Nucleic Acids Research, and a preprint is available on arXiv.
