Computer Access
Computer Access Includes:
The Gibson County Memorial Library has 15 terminals open to use for the public. From these terminals, one can access Microsoft Word, Publisher, explore the web, and so much more!
One of the terminals here at GCML, allows patrons to access multiple newspapers and records from decades ago.
Patrons can also print from the terminals. Prints can be done in color or black and white. The cost of the black and white copies is $0.10 per page and the color copies are $0.50 per page.
We also offer free scanning of documents for e-mails.
Adults are the only patrons allowed to check out computers. If anyone under the age of 18 wants a computer, a parent/guardian's photo ID or library card must be shown and they must supervise the child's activity on the computer at all times. Adult patrons are NOT allowed to check out computers for other adults.
Wi-fi is available to anyone 24/7 free of charge. Patrons are also allowed to bring in personal laptops, tablets, and cell phones to use this resource.
Patrons using the computer or free wireless internet must abide by the library internet and computer policies, set forth by the library board. Failure to do so, may result in the loss of computer privileges.
