One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

A lawyer obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black, engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul. It all begins innocently enough, but then, as they reach further into his darkest memories, they find themselves caught up in a world of eerie marshes and moaning winds.

Lenny is a great guy: a good teacher, an excellent father and a loving husband. So when his wife leaves him for a smooth-talking lothario who builds Walmarts, his life is shattered. While Lenny consoles himself with pizza and Monday Night Football, his best friend Mick takes matters into his own hands. Now Lenny must decide what he will stand up for and who he will stand up to. How far is too far to get back to happily-ever-after?  


This show is a dark comedy that contains strong adult language

The defense and the prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a young man is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open-and-shut case of murder soon becomes a detective story that presents a succession of clues creating doubt, and a mini-drama of each of the jurors' prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.

It’s been a tough year for Heather. Unemployed, divorcing, and back in New York, her 30’s are not what she’d thought. Her hopes are high as she steps into a Manhattan elevator next to a stranger and pushes the button to take her up to a better life. Too bad the universe has other plans. Now trapped, she relies on a gruff repairman and a ‘first day’ trainee to free her. And the stranger……if only he really was.

Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind is a fun, fast paced night at the theatre as an ensemble cast performs "30 Plays in 60 Minutes." Each two-minute play is performed in random order with an interactive audience. An onstage 60-minute timer keeps everyone honest. With a collection of 90 comic, tragic, political, personal, and abstract plays, every performance will be unique!

The Box Office located at Ghostlight Theatre is only open 1 hour before each show


Prices

Tickets for our 2016-2017 season are $20.00

Youth Theatre Tickets are $12.00

For Groups of 10 or more, tickets are $17.00

Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office 1 hour before each show

NO REFUNDS. TICKETS MAY BE EXCHANGED FOR ANOTHER PERFORMANCE OR EVENT. (Fees may apply)

WILL CALL TICKETS MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE.. (Any tickets not picked up will be resold)
