About Us

Ghostlight's History

What began as a quiet dream in 2010 between a group of high school friends soon grew into a 501(3) non-profit organization with five Board Members in its first year. For the first three seasons, Ghostlight Theatre actors performed in high school auditoriums and multi-purpose facilities in Surprise, including a partnership with the newly built Valley Vista Performing Arts Center.  

In 2013, we were blessed with an opportunity to rent our own performance space in Sun City West, where we still perform today.  We raised $15,000 that year to renovate a small retail location into an intimate black box theater, which now includes a small lobby, tech booth, stage, two dedicated storage units, raised seating for 68 audience members, dressing rooms, and a greenroom. We are currently celebrating our 17th Season!!

 Ghostlight's Future

Ghostlight Theatre continues to grow and evolve with each year.  Now celebrating our 16th Season! We will continue to host fundraising events and 50/50 raffles during each show to help us further our goals of enhancing the space to provide the best quality entertainment possible. We appreciate the efforts of every volunteer, each patron, every actor, sponsor, and community member for their continued support and financial contributions. It is truly due to your support that we can do what we love and keep the Arts alive and well in the West Valley. Thank you!
