mRNA delivers the message to the outside of the nucleus, where it binds to ribosomes. Ribosomes are structures involved in protein synthesis. Here the message is decoded, as theribosomes move along the mRNA molecule and individual amino acids become attached via another type of RNA molecule, tRNA. Amino acids are the building blocks ofproteins; amino acids join together by peptide (chemical) bonds, creating a polypeptide molecule or protein.
