I was born in Salerno, a very beautiful city close to the Amalfitan coast, in the South of Italy.
After high school, I moved to the University of Chieti, where I graduated summa cum laude in Cognitive Psychology under the supervision of Giorgia Committeri.
Later, I joined the Cognitive Neuropsychology Centre at the ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda in Milan for my training in Clinical Neuropsychology.
From 2012 to 2015, I have been enrolled on the PhD program in “Experimental Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience” at the University of Pavia supervised by Gabriella Bottini. I have spent one year of my PhD program at the Brain and Cognition Lab at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Kia Nobre.
From 2016 to 2021 I have been a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Pavia.
Currently, I am a tenure-track associate professor (M-PSI/02) at the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Pavia.
