George Fryer started his career in the SoCal punk scene with Peace Corp., a politico/punk band that signed with two record labels and released a critically acclaimed album. He shared stages with Violent Femmes, Sugar Ray, Blink 182, Offspring, Garbage, Cake, Stone Temple Pilots, Hole, and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
In 2000, he went acoustic. The result was "Decaf," a softer-tinged debut that launched a new chapter. Over two decades later, George is a fixture of the Orange County and Long Beach live music scene, performing both solo and with the George Fryer Combo.
A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, bass, and drums, George writes and performs original music alongside a repertoire of 5,000 classic rock songs spanning the 1950s through 2000s. He runs his own label, Salih Records, and is a member of the Long Beach Music Council.
