Information for undergraduate students

Being exposed to actuarial research early on in your career can help enhance your resume/CV in addition to being an intellectually rewarding thing. If you are interested in doing some research, Michigan State University offers a number of ways you can be involved.

Ways you can be involved in actuarial research at MSU as an undergraduate student

• REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program.

• STT 490 (Directed Study of Statistical Problems), or MTH 490 (Directed Studies), or MTH 491B (Teamwork Experience) under my supervision.

• STT 890 (Statistical Problems) under my supervision.

• PA (Professional Assistant) positions are available for honor's college students.
