2018 May Eagle Project plants more than a seed
Joe G's Eagle project was to remove and replant landscaping at St John Bosco Church. They reworked the area in front of the church office. Joe is a member of the Troop and St John Bosco's Venture Crew. Both groups assisted in this project.
2018 April Eagle Project ramps / steps it up

2017 September Eagle Project Tears it Down
Derek's Project was to tear down a dilapidated garage, re-grade area, plant grass, add landscaping and a picnic table.

Memorial Day 2017 was Parma South's 150th consecutive Memorial Day ceremony. Troop 263 was once again part of it. We worked with the chairs, lead the Pledge of Allegiance, marched in the Parade

2015 Memorial Day
The troop continued it's tradition of helping with Parma South's Memorial Day ceremony. This service has been a Parma Hts event for many years. Many a scout has worked on setup and handing out programs. Thank you to the people that make this event happen.
2015 March City Hike
We decided to see our city on foot. Some of the pack also came to see things some may have never seen. Some of the places we explored were: Grays Armory, inside the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Progressive Field, and the West Side Market. What way to experience what is nearby that you often miss.

2014 May Eagle Project says sit on it!
Paul G’s Eagle project is made to sit on. Paul constructed movable benches for Camp Cheerful. On the day of assembly the work needed to be done quickly to beat the rain, got a little wet. The work will be appreciated by many tired people.
2014 Memorial Day
Thank You Parma South for once again hosting the Memorial Day pre-parade ceremony. This tradition reminds us what the day is really about. The troop once again was part of the set-up for this ceremony.
Eagle project tells people where to go! April 2014
Maybe it's more where they are. Ben P's Eagle project involved relabeling rooms at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. It was noted that you never know how many rooms are in a building until you start marking them all. So people may still get lost but now the new labels may let them know how lost they are. Thanks to all that helped Ben with this project.
Troop 263's 67th Eagle Scout
Troop 263 is pleased to announce that David Polak is Troop 263's 67st Eagle Scout since our 1st in 1953. David's Eagle Board was held October 14, 2013.
Court of Honor September 17, 2013
The Scouts received almost sixty merit badges and five boys advanced in rank with two boys making the rank of Eagle Scout, Jeffrey Hlutke and Brandon Burk.
Relay for Life was July 27-28, 2013
The Parma Relay for Life was at Cuyahoga Community College. We had a lot of rain but made the most of it.
Summer Camp July 7-13, 2013
We went to summer camp at Camp Beaumont, had a lot of rain and hot weather. The boys earned almost fifty merit badges.
Scouts get out the soap and buckets for Eagle project
August 18, 2013 a car wash was held to help raise funds for David P's Eagle Project. Other parts of his project have already been completed.
Troop 263's 65th & 66th Eagle Scouts
Troop 263 is pleased to announce that on August 12, 2013 we added 2 new Eagles to our list. This makes 66 since our 1st in 1953. Brandon Burk
- His project involved improvements at a preschool including landscaping, paint, and repair work
- Brandon is a student at Valley Forge High school.
- Eagle Court of Honor held October 20, 2013
Jeffery Hlutke
- His project was to improve the band room at Valley Forge High School. This included painting and locker repairs.
- Jeff will be attending Bowling Green State University
75 Years Already?
May 27,2013 - The troop celebrated it’s 75th year after Parma-South’s 146th Memorial Day Service and marching in the parade.

Brandon B's Eagle Leadership Project involves updating several exterior items at Ridgewood Preschool.
Troop leader recognized for hard work !
Mr Dave Baer was awarded Pioneer District’s Outstanding Boy Scouter award. Dave is an Assistant Scoutmaster, the troop treasurer, and a merit badge counselor. Dave held a number of positions with Pack 263 before joining the troop.
Troop 263's 64th Eagle Scout
Troop 263 is pleased to announce that Kyle Baer is Troop 263's 64st Eagle Scout since our 1st in 1953. Kyle's Eagle Board was held December 27, 2012.
Scouts Show Pride at Greenbriar Middle School
Kyle B., a tenth grader at Valley Forge High School, selected Greenbriar as the location for his "Eagle Scout Service Project." Through his leadership, the building received a facelift by Boy Scout Troop 263.
They removed five trees, several bushes, and a brick walkway to improve security at the school. They also painted the flag pole, filled in the area with top soil and planted grass to improve its appearance. The project took two days to complete, and is a great example of how capable our youth are in planning and following through with a project to improve our schools and community. Great job guys!
