I noticed this place as I was walking towards Rani Ki Vav. I saw some
carvings in this empty pond. I walked down and saw quite
a few carvings and two niches. One niche had a yoni but the Shiv-ling was
missing. A youngster came and started talking to me, he said "in
more than two years you must be the only person who has entered
this place". Not he nor the caretakers at the nearby Kalika Maa Mandir
knew the name of this pond. I've added it to Google Maps as "Patan Kund".
If any of you know the correct name or have any information about
this site please add it to Google Maps as a review. Really sad to see
a place like this neglected, and dirty.
