Objective : To further, actively promote, encourage, socialize & generate competitive badminton in George Brown College, Toronto, Ontario

Time: Registration – promptly at 8:30 am
Start – promptly at 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

Place : GBC Alex Barbier Gym (6th Floor), 200 King St East.Toronto Ontario
Entry Fee : $30 per player, with minimum 4 players.
Team: Team Challenge will consist of 4-8 teams.
Each team will be made up of of 4-5 players and can have any combination Men & Women
Stipulation: Each team will play a total of 3 Doubles matches against another team. Each player on the team must play at least one match up to a maximum of 2 matches and cannot play with the same partner. A handicap will be given to Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles teams:
Format: Round-robin team format in 2 pools made up of 4 teams. Top 2 teams in each pool will advance to play-off round. Winners of pools will cross-over – that is, 1st place will play 2nd place in semi-final, with winners advancing to finals. Losers play for 3rd and 4th place.
Regulations: All issues to be settled by Organizer & Team captains. All players must, have OHIP & sign the WAIVER before participating. Current badminton laws – best 2 of 3 to 21 points. Please supply own shuttlecocks.
NB: No umpire, no referee, and no Player card required. Play fair and call own lines.
Awards: $$ CASH $$ prizes. The amount will depend on total entries received. The prizes for the winning team will be dependent on number of players on the team. It will be awarded equally to each player and not as a flat amount for the team irrespective of size.
