I am an Assistant Professor of Health Economics at the Health Economics Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. My research primarily explores the causes of inequality—particularly health inequalities—by combining causal inference methods with measures of inequality.
A central focus of my current work is advancing economic evaluation to better integrate fairness considerations, especially in the context of preventative and health-promoting interventions. I am also interested in the health effects of education policies, the role of childhood circumstances in shaping long-term outcomes, and the causes and consequences of residential segregation in Sweden.
I hold a Ph.D. in Health Economics from Lund University and an MSc in Economics from University College London (UCL). Before entering academia, I worked for several years as an economic advisor within the UK Government Economic Service.
