2026/27 Season Draft Update and Season Details

• The draft is DONE!  Team lists are posted!

• The game schedule is also posted up to March 2027.  Yes, all teams have an equal number of early/late games.  Some adjustments have been made to ensure this and also to limit the maximum number of late games in a row to no more than 3.

• FYI we are securing a new liability insurance policy as per town requirements.  Note this does not provide players with insurance coverage for injuries that may be sustained during play.  (Note this has always been the case.)   Prior to hitting the ice this year, all players must sign a waiver (insurance requirements).  If you would rather not sign, let us know asap so we may sell your spot to someone on the waiting list.

• On that note, we are always on the lookout for newbies as the seasoned players take on more gentle activities.  Anyone interested in being placed on a waiting list, contact Peter W at Woodley's Jewellers.

League Calendar

This is a friendly, casual no contact league, where the main purposes are fun and exercise.  All games are played at the  Lou Jeffries, Gananoque & T.L.T.I Recreation Centre, located at 600 King Street East, Gananoque ON.  We play Wednesday evenings between 9 and 11PM from late September through to late March.

Joining us - Registration Details

All players (new and returning) can register by providing cash or check for annual fees prior to the deadline.  Steps to register:

1. Complete this online registration form (link active starting in July) providing:

• Your contact information (Name, email, phone number and municipality of residence) 

• Your date of birth (to confirm eligibility and for event insurance coverage)

• Your hockey background and experience (skill rating from 1-10, your position, and highest organized level played)

2. Pay registration fees at Woodley's Jewellers as per dates below. Registration is considered complete once information is provided AND fees are paid at Woodley's.  First come, first served. (Woodley's store hours are 10AM to 4PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  Also open Saturday from 10AM to 3PM)

3. Once we've reached the capacity of 52 skaters and 4 goalies, we will continue to accept registration forms for a waiting list (without payment of fees of course), as we do on occasion have players who must drop out of the league for various reasons.  Space permitting, new players (or late returning players) may be able to join the league mid-season.

4. Important to note:  As a league, we must commit to payment of all costs for the entire season.  There are no refunds.  However, if a player cannot continue to play for the season due to personal reasons,  we work with the player to "sell" the remaining portion of the season to players on a wait list we keep at the start of the season.

2026/27 Registration and Fees

Registration fee for returning players:  $400.  New players (if space available) $430

Registration fee for returning goalies:  $200.  New goalies (if space available) $200

Key Dates to Remember:

• Saturday, August 1, 2026: Registration starts at Woodley's Jewellers at 10AM (open until 3PM).  Online forms are accepted.

• Friday, August 14, 2026 by 3:45PM:  Deadline for returning players to register/remit annual fees to secure your spot.

• Saturday, August 15, 2026:  New player registrations start at 10AM.  First come, first served until the league is full.  

• Saturday, August 29, 2026 by 2PM: Deadline for all players to register/remit annual fees.  Note, your spot is secured only when annual fees have been paid.

• Draft date: TBD

• Wednesday, September 30, 2026: Start date of the new season!

All registered players are entered into the annual draft, where teams are selected for the new year.  Teams start fresh every year with a new slate, except for the Captains which allows players to get to know each other over the years.
