2024/25 Registration and Fees
Registration for the next year will kick off early August 2024. Watch for updates starting in July for updates to deadlines and registration fees for the new season.
Key Dates to Register:
Monday, 12 August 2024: Deadline for returning players to register/remit annual fees to secure your spot.
Tuesday, 13 August 2024: New player registrations start. First come, first served until the league is full.
Saturday, 31 August 2024: Deadline for all players to register/remit annual fees. Note, your spot is secured only when annual fees have been paid.
All registered players are entered into the annual draft, where teams are selected for the new year. Teams start fresh every year with a new slate, except for the Captains which allows players to get to know each other over the years.
Yes we do have some "bad boys" once and a while! So we do need to have a basic set of rules to set the tone. Although somewhat competitive, it is after all primarily friendly and casual. Some rules to keep in mind:
Introduced in 2021/22: Penalty shots! In the case of penalties, a team will not be short-handed. Instead, the offending player must go to their bench immediately and the player who was offended will be awarded a penalty shot. Further information is provided on the Disciplinary Rules Page.
Reminder: 2 penalties in a game and you're done for the evening. Fighting and you're out of the league.
Safety first!!! Remember to play safe... This is NO CONTACT hockey. If a player is injured as a result of the play of an opposing player, and their injury is such that they cannot continue to play, the opposing player is also finished for the evening.
