For a number of reasons, we will be sticking with the same teams as last year, with some minor adjustments for the odd departing/returning player.
Schedule will be posted Thursday, 25 September.
Feedback: Always welcome. Provide directly to Peter W or Dave G by email! In particular, feedback on whether to include one or a series of games on the Gord Brown Memorial Canada 150 Outdoor Rink in the schedule would be of interest.

Yes we do have some "bad boys" once and a while! So we do need to have a basic set of rules to set the tone. Although somewhat competitive, it is after all primarily friendly and casual. Some rules to keep in mind:
Introduced in 2021/22: Penalty shots! In the case of penalties, a team will not be short-handed. Instead, the offending player must go to their bench immediately and the player who was offended will be awarded a penalty shot. Further information is provided on the Disciplinary Rules Page.
Reminder: 2 penalties in a game and you're done for the evening. Fighting and you're out of the league.
Safety first!!! Remember to play safe... This is NO CONTACT hockey. If a player is injured as a result of the play of an opposing player, and their injury is such that they cannot continue to play, the opposing player is also finished for the evening.
This is a friendly, casual no contact league, where the main purposes are fun and exercise. All games are played at the Lou Jeffries, Gananoque & T.L.T.I Recreation Centre, located at 600 King Street East, Gananoque ON. We play Wednesday evenings between 9 and 11PM from late September through to late March.
All players (new and returning) can register by providing cash or check for annual fees prior to the deadline. *NEW* steps to register:
Complete this online registration form providing:
Your contact information (Name, email, phone number and municipality of residence)
Your date of birth (to confirm eligibility and for event insurance coverage)
Your hockey background and experience (skill rating from 1-10, your position, and highest organized level played)
Pay registration fees at Woodley's Jewellers as per dates below.
Note: Registration is considered complete once information is provided AND fees are paid at Woodley's. First come, first served.
Once we've reached the capacity of 52 skaters and 4 goalies, we will continue to accept registration forms for a waiting list (without payment of fees of course), as we do on occasion have players who must drop out of the league for various reasons. Space permitting, new players (or late returning players) may be able to join the league mid-season.
Registration fee for returning players: $370. New players (if space available) $400.
Registration fee for returning goalies: $185. New goalies (if space available) $200
