Badges & Awards
Reward students with badges & awards: For each unit or section completed, reward students with badges. Khan Academy is an example. As students watch instructional videos and complete problem sets, Khan Academy awards them with points and badges to track progress and encourage perseverance.

Class-wide Rewards system:
To encourage collaboration, teamwork and peer helping, setup a reward where students achieve something as a team. For example, set a goal of 85% of class passing an exam. As a reward, the entire class gets an award with bonus points. This way students are helping each other instead of just competing for themselves.

Badges and rewards
A required 85% is needed to receive a badge and the associated reward:
Ari explains the use of stars for tasks and Badges for mastery of topic.
Badges: When student demonstrates mastery, the badge will be awarded. This could be passing a comprehensive quiz. completing projects and being able to answer questions that demonstrate leaning.
Stars are awarded upon task completion. Multiple tries or additional tasks can earn student additional stars.
