6. Aug 2011 Plainsman

   The turn out for the first Plainsman shoot was better than expected and everyone who attended thought it was a fun event.  There were 10 cowboys shooting single shot rifles on the six stages.  Three of these folks event shot cap and ball pistols.  Everyone shot duelist with a few doing it for the first time.  All in all there were few misses and some pretty impressive shooting with the rifles.  Some of the targets were a tad bit small but most were able to hit the target.  After all the factors were put into the scores - Tuco Bandito aka Jim Rhiehart was the match winner.  See scores for more information. Next year there will be another Plainsman shoot and there will be longer ranges involved and more fun.
