David Galdeano

Cursus

David Galdeano was born in Nimes, France, in 1983. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical, Electronics and Automation Engineering from the University Montpellier 2, France in 2008, the M.S. degree in Robotics and Automation from the University Montpellier 2, France in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in Robotics from the University Montpellier 2, France in 2014.

In 2010, he has been working at LIRMM as a Research Engineer during one year on the CNRS project: ANR BLANC SHERPA.

He received a PhD Fellowship from the University Montpellier 2 and won a merit-based scholarship during his MS degree. He has also been Teaching Assistant between 2011 to 2014 at the Université de Montpellier 2.

Currently he is a Post-doctoral fellow with the Joint Japanese-French Robotics Laboratory (JRL) in Tsukuba, Japan. His current research interests include humanoid robotics, whole-body posture control.
