Don't stop here. We've got to have ways to communicate with you...

Communications, Advancement Tracking, Training and more...

1) Scoutbook: Scoutbook.com will be our primary tool for communicating with parents as well as tracking scout advancement. All parents will be required to have an active Scoutbook account. There is no cost to you to use Scoutbook. As your Scouts accounts are created, you will receive an email invitation to confirm your adult account. Please complete the registration as soon as possible so that you won't miss out on any vital pack information. If you have not received your invitation within 7 days of completing registration, please contact fumcpack293@gmail.com for assistance.

2) Remind: Pack 293 uses Remind for TXT communications. These are primarily used "in the field" to communicate on camping trips, service projects and other large events. To sign up, Click HERE or Text @cpack2 to 81010

3) Facebook - Like and follow us on Facebook for the latest scouting news as well as connecting and staying in touch with other scouting families.

4) Follow our Calendar: We have a Google Calendar on this site that you can subscribe to as well as an overview calendar that can be printed for quick reference. Calendars are subject to change so please check in often.

5) Purchase Uniform and Book – Uniforms and books can be purchased online or at a local Scout Shop. We recommend the Strake Scout Shop at 1188 W. Dallas in Conroe. The uniform should have the Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) for the Sam Houston Area Council, Unit Numbers 293, World Crest Emblem and World Crest Ring. Den numbers are optional. Please see our uniform pages for more details. New for 2019 is a Hand-me-up shop for Pack 293. Meetings in September will feature a selection of well traveled Cub Scout uniform pieces at no cost to you. If you have extra uniforms, please consider donating them so that they might be a blessing for our scout families.

6) Youth Protection Training: The most vital training that the BSA offers is Youth Protection Training (YPT). It is recommended for all adults to take this course. YPT is required for all leaders, registered adults and several other volunteer and assistive roles. Under the initiative “Youth Protection Begins with You,” it is strongly recommended that all adults involved in Scouting take Youth Protection training.
