Electric Hornets 

Team 8120, the Electric Hornets, is a FIRST Tech Challenge team based in Kirtland High School. We design, build, and program robots to compete in competitions.

News

The Electric Hornets finished 7th place out of 25 in the 2025 Kent State University Qualifier on February 8! They will be advancing to the state championship on March 8 in Troy, Ohio. The Electric Hornets were the 1st place pick of the second place alliance, and also won the 2nd place Inspire Award, one of the highest awards of the FIRST Tech Challenge!
