Teachers have the ability to apply for grants that will benefit the students of HISD through each of our grant programs. The Excellence in Education Grant was formerly known as the Innovative Classroom Grant.
Elementary, Junior High and High School teachers can apply for innovative classroom grants, including but not limited to technology and other innovative programs. Innovative Classroom Grants are generally awarded once a year through the Innovative Grant application process. Educators are asked to complete the Innovative Classroom Grant application by a deadline each spring.
