Astley Hall re-opened on Friday 29 March 2024 

After our period of closure for the winter cleaning schedule we're so excited to welcome visitors back who will be able to enjoy some new object displays and interpretation!

As part of our celebration of the 100 year anniversary of Astley Hall being open to the public, our collections team have selected some special items to showcase the Hall's history over the last century. In addition, new interpretation panels will be in place showcasing the first of our 'Astley Memories' participants stories of the Hall.

The Hall will be open from 10am - 4pm over the Easter Weekend (29th, 30th and 31st, closed on Easter Monday).

The regular summer opening hours for the Hall will then be:

Monday: Closed

Tuesday: Closed (for advance guided tour bookings and education visits)

Wednesday: Open 10am - 4pm

Thursday: Closed (for advance guided tour bookings and education visits)

Friday: Open 10am - 4pm

Saturday: Open 10am - 4pm

Sunday: Open 10am - 4pm

The Astley Hall Museum Gift Shop is currently open 10am – 3pm, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.

The rest of the park remains open for you to enjoy.

Admission fees - discounted rate for Chorley residents – you may be asked for proof of address.
