Key Objectives

Revegetation of the rail trail with indigenous species, within the guidelines of the City Of Greater Geelong “Management Plan” for the trail

Leave the habitat in it's natural state

Promote biodiversity by planting a diverse range of plant species

Provide extra facilities (for passive and active recreation)

Co-operate with other community and active groups on the trail

Overall vision

- install “Heritage Shelters” at old station sites

- partial sealing of riding and walking track

- access for the disabled - to all facilities

- involving more “Corporate and Business” sponsorship

- more community involvement in the trail's development

- more school student / education staff involvement

- promotion of the BRT as a health and fitness local asset
