Friendly Caveat

Although we are generally encouraging of friendly ways and discouraging of unfriendly ways, we must never be blind to people exploiting friendly ways. That is why friendly ways and unfriendly ways must always be subjected to national and international laws.

Put bluntly we should not be friendly towards those who ride roughshod over national and international laws (we should not be friendly towards lawlessness). If necessary national and international laws need to be ammended to stop exploitation of national and international laws.

Whether we like it or not we all reside in one particular country and our first responsibility should be focused on the common good of all people within the country in which we legally reside.

Yes we should also express concern for the wider world, but our first responsibility should always be focused on the common good of all people within the country in which we legally reside.
