WEEK OF 4/1/24

Great week of work last week! Let's keep it going, we have a very busy 2 weeks ahead of us!
Please read your location assignments very carefully below!!
If weather is an issue on Monday for team pictures, please look for a communication Monday afternoon. Plan on pictures either indoor or outdoors. Captains will communicate which uniforms will be worn for the pictures.

PRACTICE SCHEDULES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- TEAM PICTURES MONDAY - ALL TEAMS WILL PRACTICE AT FOSSIL
- Varsity Practice-
  - - Monday - Team pictures and practice 4:30-6:15
    - Tuesday - Sophie H., Avery, Sam, Libby, Bela, Jess & Kaylee practice at Fossil Highschool
    - Thursday - Come out and support Varsity & V2 players vs Loveland at Fossil Highschool - match at 4pm
      - All varsity players are expected to come support at this match, even if you are not playing
        If this match finishes and you would like to hit afterwards, please bring your tennis stuff to the courts, we will gladly stay and hit with you.
    - Friday - Practice 4:30-6:15 - preparing for the Cherry Creek tournament Saturday the 6th
- Remaining V2/JV
  - - Monday - Team pictures and practice at Fossil High 4:30-6:15 (D4 challenge match starts after pictures - Jess/Kaylee/Sophie W/Lily C.
    - Wednesday - No JV practice - Cherry Creek V2 match (see below)
    - Thursday - No practice - support your teammates vs Loveland - see below
    - Friday - V2/JV practice at Fossil Creek park 4:30-6pm
MATCH SCHEDULES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Varsity Matches:
  - Tuesday, April 2nd- Varsity/V2/JV Match vs Erie @ Erie Highschool at 3:30pm
    - Following Varsity players are playing vs Erie
      - Irene S1
        Lara S2
        Abby & Afton D1

Varsity players are excused after the D4 match finishes to return to Fort Collins as we are traveling to Cherry Creek the next day.

- - - Release at 1:15 - leaving parking lot at 1:30pm - DON'T BE LATE, THE BUS WON'T WAIT!!!
    - WE HAVE A CHARTER BUS FOR THIS MATCH
      - If you plan on riding home with your parents or someone else's parents, you MUST HAVE a written and signed note from your parent/guardian stating this and who you are riding home with.
        If JV wants to come later with parent, they can leave after school AND must communicate this to Coach Deb.

  - Wednesday, April 3rd - Cherry Creek @ Cherry Creek Highschool at 4pm
    - - Release at 1pm - Leaving parking lot at 1:20pm - DON'T BE LATE
      - WE NEED PARENT DRIVERS! Please let me know if you are willing to drive and take our athletes to the match (including how many you can take in your vehicle)

  - Varsity Cherry Creek/Denver East tournament - Saturday, April 6th - Day 1
    - - Stay tuned for email with details about location, times etc later in the week. Everyone will play 2 matches.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES

Team Pictures - Monday, April 1st - afterschool at Fossil Highschool courts. All teams will practice at Fossil that afternoon, not at Fossil Creek Park.
- - D4/V2 challenge match will be held after pictures
  - All teams will practice at Fossil High School after pictures
Fuzzys Taco Shop Fundraiser - Monday, April 8th 5-7pm -(arrive at 4:50 from practice).
- The varsity team will be "running the $5 brownie sales" at the restaurant. All other team members/families are encouraged to go to dinner at Fuzzys and buy a brownie for dessert to raise money for the team. Please tell your friends and family members to come out and support our team!!!
- There will be an "early" practice on April 8th for varsity members who have 4th period off. We will practice from 3-4:30. Those individuals will "work" the 5-6 shift at the brownie sale. Those who have a 4th period and V2 top 4 will have practice (Sophie W, Lily C, Jenna & Clara), from 4:15-5:45 and will go over to Fuzzys to work the brownie sale from 6-7pm.
Conference Match has changed due to the SAT on Tuesday the 16th from 9-12 .
- Conference will now be Monday, April 15th and Tuesday afternoon, April 16th instead of the 16th and 17th.
- If you do not want to take the test before your match on Tuesday afternoon, there is a make-up test available on Tuesday, April 23rd.
