Thespian Points are awarded to Drama Club members deserving of recognition for their dedication and hard work in Theatre. One is granted a thespian point for an average equivalent of ten hours of work both on or off stage. Thespian points are given for any of the following below:
Acting
Major Role = 8 pts.
Supporting Role or GI Cast = 5 pts.
Dance Captain = 3 pts.
Ensemble = 3 pts.
Featured Ensemble = 2 pts.
Walk-on = 2 pts.
Understudy = 2 pts.
Competition in interpretation or duet acting scenes = 2 pts.
Production
Student Tech Director = 8 pts.
Stage Manager = 8 pts.
Assistant Stage Manager= 6 pts.
Crew Head = 6 pts.
Set Crew = 4 pts.
Tech Crew = 3 pts.
Props Crew = 3 pts.
Costumes Crew = 3 pts.
Musician (Pit Orchestra) = 3 pts.
Running Crew = 2 pts.
Publicity Crew = 2 pts.
Hang and Focus = 1 pt.
Summer Set Build = .5 pts. per day
Miscellaneous
Showchoir = 2 pts.
Theatre Fest = 2 pts.
Variety Show Performer (not Showchoir) = 1 pt.
Ushering = 1 pt. per show
Audience = 0.25 pts. (with a short written summary)
Attending a Meeting= 0.25 pts. (Automatically submitted)
Let The Stars Come Out= 0.5 pts.
Thespian- 10 points (yellow)
Honor thespian- 70 points (blue)
National Honor Thespian- 120 points (green)
International Honor Thespian- 180 points (red)
