My main interests are:
The ability to represent others' mental states (such as emotion, cognition, and perception).
The ability to distinguish between self- and other-representations.
How the social context modulates action parameters and visuo-spatial perception.
And at a more applied level:
Bottom-up sensori-motor interventions targeting social cognitive processes.
The benefits of non-violent communication.
I strive to investigate these topics in healthy humans (children, adults, seniors) as well as in many clinical conditions (psychiatric, neurological, and neurodevelopmental disorders) thanks to the collaboration of many great colleagues. I am also interested in developing, adapting and validating assessment and rehabilitation tools, while keeping in mind the importance of cultural variables.
