Fowlis Wester SWI

The Fowlis Wester branch of the Scottish Women's Institute have been celebrating their 100th Birthday in 2026, an amazing feat considering the SWI is 110 years old. Our wee village must have been one of the earlier groups who continue to meet.

The group recently held a 100th Birthday Celebration with a special visit from the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Jennifer Erskine who joined the ladies to toast the group.

Below are some photos of the event, if you wish to join the group they meet on the third Tuesday of the month at Fowlis Wester Village Hall.
