A Message from our founder:
Welcome to the home page of the Forsythe Mixed Doubles Tennis League. We hope you find this website to be informative and beneficial, but most of all we hope you enjoy playing tennis. If you like to compete, enjoy meeting new friends or want to get out and play on a regular basis, we think we have something special to offer for you. What We Do
Every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. we meet at Forsythe Tennis Center in Forsythe Park.
Teams meet at the courts. When ALL 4 PLAYERS have arrived, they can pick the next available court and begin play.
There are three league seasons each year, Spring, Summer and Fall.
The fee is $40 per player per season. The league fee covers the cost of all court fees and balls.
Don't have a partner? Play in a mixer.
Mixers are not part of the league season, so a court fee of $2 is required from each player each night.
Space is limited, so sign up early!
Substitutes:
It is the responsibility of the absent player to arrange for a substitute. Matches unable to be completed because a complete team does not show up will be forfeited.
Basic Rules:
One match per week.
Match consists of best of 3 sets.
Third set (if needed) will be a 10-point tie breaker.
