Short answer: I humbly suggest that even students with IB/AP Psych in their background might still get something out of Intro no matter who you take it with

Not only does the lab experience give students a new appreciation of "the same old stuff." As for whether the lecture is just the "same old stuff":

“I took IB psychology in high school and I was worried that I would be bored in Intro, but we covered different and very interesting things that were outside of the IB curriculum and of the in Intro Psych textbooks.”
