We have installed a new light and temperature incubator on the two-photon microscope. This was based on a prototype we built out of black foam posterboard using Thorlabs rails, and velcro, that lasted one year. This current one, is built out of 1/4" black acrylic (plexiglass) from US plastics, using Thorlabs rails, and machining and door construction was in house, by Mike, in the Einstein machine shop. Thanks Mike. Temperature is maintained using an AirTherm from WPI (Think fancy hair dryer). This current structure is more stable, and 1/4 of the cost of a commercial installation.

view inside. The door is hinged down, and secured with magnets. The inner lip provides stability and light protection.
Outside view of back. It is challenging to photograph reflective black surfaces with a phone camera!
Thanks Mike!
