Our two churches work together as one Pastoral Charge. We share a minister, organist, activities and fellowship groups, and support each other as a united community. An appeal from Centre 507
The Closet is a new clothing and home essentials service running at Centre 507 Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It serves about a dozen people per day and the average person picks up between six and 10 donated items. Community members say that the Closet isn't just keeping people warm and dry, it's also there when people have special needs like clothes for a job interview. Our dedicated volunteers act as personal shoppers to help each individual best meet their needs.
Items most in demand
Men’s shoes and boots (sizes 10-13), Men’s pants
Winter coats (men’s and women’s)
Knapsacks, Sleeping bags
Boxes will be placed in both churches for donations of these items and any other warm hats, mitts, socks, scarves, etc.
The Meditation Group meets on Thursdays at 10am at Merivale.
