Welcome to my webpage!
If the above affiliations are not enough (well, I am based in France after all ...), I am also one of the scientific coordinators (together with Romain Rancière) of the Chaire Banque de France at PSE. I moved to Paris joining the HEC Paris Business School in Sept. 2007 after having held a three-year Prize Research Fellowship at Oxford University (Nuffield College), and a Visiting Fellow position at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA.
I got my PhD at the European University Institute in Florence in 2004, and my thesis received the Rotary Europa Prize for the best thesis defended in the 2003-2007 interval. I have also visited the University of California at Berkeley, the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, the European Central Bank and the Bank of England. Follow the links at the left if you want to see a detailed CV, or know more about my research and teaching.
Fields: Macroeconomic Theory , Analysis and Policy and Monetary Economics (Business Cycles and Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium); Secondary: Applied Time Series, Financial Economics.
