About Me

Hello! My name is Kris Florea, and I am excited to be your English teacher.

I was born in Centerville, Ohio and earned a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University with a minor in English. After working in publishing for ten years, I returned to school and received my secondary teaching certification. I also earned my M.Ed. in Secondary Education from UNCW.

My love of English and reading began at an early age thanks to several people in my life. I hope that I can help you discover a love and appreciation for literature as well.
