Research in the area of corporate finance and empirical finance with a special focus on the impact of credit ratings and risk management on firm value, in particular since the financial crisis. In addition, research on regulatory changes and the impact of credit rating agencies and fixed income investors on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
