Become a Member of First Step

If you would like to access any of the services we offer, you will need to become a member of First Step. 

As of the 1st April 2024, membership costs £20 each year and is open to families who live in Musselburgh, Wallyford and Whitecraig. Membership also gives you the opportunity to have a say in shaping the project, sit on our Strategic Board, and be invited to our Annual General Meeting.

How to pay your £20 annual membership: Our bank account details are given below so you can arrange payment of your membership by bank transfer. We also accept payment by card or cash within the project.

Please ensure you quote your surname as the reference. 

Your annual membership will start from the date we receive your form and you initially become a member. 

For those that are renewing membership, your membership will continue on from the date your last membership expired. 

We will not turn someone away from our service due to financial hardship. If you have difficulty in making this one-off payment, please speak to a member of staff .
