Brief Biography

Filbert Juwono received the B. Eng degree in electrical engineering from University of Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia, in 2007 and the M. Eng degree in telecommunication engineering also from University of Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia, in 2009. He obtained a Ph.D degree from the University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia in 2016. His Ph.D supervisors were Prof. Defeng (David) Huang and the Late Prof. Kit Po Wong. He was a recipient of Australian Awards Scholarships in 2012. He was also a visiting postgraduate student at Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China under supervision of Prof. Yifan Chen, where he is currently with University of Waikato.

In 2009, he joined Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia as a lecturer. Currently, he is joining Curtin University Malaysia. His main research activities include general topic in wireless communications, signal processing for communications, OFDM, and power-line communications.
