Characters

Every story needs characters. Whether their names are nonsensical or historical they must be derived from some language, some etymology, some culture. Characters may be classified by role or even star sign. They will effect certain manners or etiquette, they will dress for their roles. Simply keeping track of the characters can prove problematic, and of course their many motivations as events transpire around them must make sense if the reader is to believe in them.
