Financial Aid

Do not use  any website that ends in .com to submit your FAFSA.  This site will charge you a fee to process your FAFSA.  The FAFSA application is a FREE application for federal student aid.

Seniors will be able to submit their application in December 2023.  You will use 2022 income and tax information for you and your parents.  Because you should have already done your taxes by the time you fill out your FAFSA, you may be able to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to automatically import your tax information into your FAFSA. (Learn about the IRS Data Retrieval Tool at studentaid.gov/irsdrt).  In order to transfer information from the IRS to the FAFSA website, you (and your parents) will need to answer questions about filing status, SS number, and address used for 2019 IRS tax return.

Both student and parent will need a FSA (Federal Student Aid) ID  to electronically sign the FAFSA.  The FSA ID is a username and password combination that allows students and parents to "sign" their FAFSA electronically.  Students and parents can create their FSA ID at www.studentaid.gov, click on "FSA ID" with the lock icon on the menu near the top of the page.  Please keep your username and password in a safe place, as you will need it every year you submit your FAFSA.  You DO NOT create a new FSA ID every year.
