Stepping Stones Garden Club meets at Warsaw Christian Church
located at 320 State Street in Warsaw, Mo 65355 at 10 am on the
2nd Wednesday of the month unless otherwise noted in the schedule.

Feb.12 Meeting at 10:00 AM
Location: Warsaw Christian Church
Program: “Using Medicinal Herbs”
Presenter: Debra Dieckman, herbal enthusiast, will share her knowledge and enthusiasm for medicinal herbs. New yearbooks will be distributed and members will review 2025 plans and activities.

Program: “Composting”
Presenter: Larry Roberts, State Garden Coordinator MU Extension, will give tips and answer your questions on composting.

Program: “Library Landscape Workday”
Bring: Gloves, plastic bags, rakes, etc. for working in the library
garden. After cleaning up the garden, members will attend a short meeting and discuss the plant sale.

Program: “Fall Decorations for Fall WCD Meeting”
Presenter: Patty Orsborn, club member, will host a crafting day. Wood scraps and supplies will be provided to create fall table decorations for the WCD Annual Meeting

Program: “MO Trees and Insects”
Presenter: David Mann, MDC Forester, will discuss Missouri forests and insects, emphasizing the effect invasive pests have had on forest health.

Program: “Recycled Scarecrows”
Presenter: Jean Tullos, member and artist, will demonstrate how to create a cute scarecrow with recycled glass, ribbons and scraps.

Bring a donation for the food pantry, items for the Silent Auction Fundraiser (garden and holiday items/donation appreciated if you don’t participate), and donation for Christmas for Kids.

Program: “Christmas Tea Party”
Presenter: Debra Barb, member and hostess extraordinaire, will treat the club to
a lovely holiday tea party. In lieu of a gift exchange, members donated in November to help support “Christmas for Kids.”

Program: “Irises” Presenter: Eric Mozingo, owner of Plant Shack in Sedalia, will share his expertise and knowledge of the care of irises and other plants.
