The best place to get organized is by going to the FGCM Garden Club Manual. Chapter VII "Procedure - The Who, What, When and Where Guide" (pp 103 -111 in the 2016 version) is particularly helpful. Below are some also some details to help you get started with your Membership Roster, Dues, Yearbook and President's Reports.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP ROSTER, STATE AND DISTRICT DUES
FGCM State Dues:
Remember you need to write just one check to cover both State Membership Dues and Club Contributions (to State Projects). The State dues are $10.00 per year for each club member. Clubs with fewer than eight members must pay for eight members to stay Federated. Club Contributions must be a minimum of $5.00 for each project - send this form only to the State Treasurer.
Make check payable to: FGCM, Inc. and enclose it with the original FGCM Membership Roster Form, plus an additional copy of the Roster. Please make sure the name "Southeast District" appears on the check. It would be helpful if the number of garden club members was also on the check.
Read more about Club Contributions on page 104 of the Manual
As your garden club gets new members during the year, please send their name, complete mailing address and email address, along with a $10.00 check to the State Treasurer, so they may begin getting The Garden Forum.
Before mailing, send four (4) copies of the 2019 FGCM Membership Roster to the following:
FGCM Membership Chairman -Joan Martin, 897 Purvis Road, Sunrise Beach, MO 65079
Southeast District Director - Sharon Beck, 230 County Road 466, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901
