Short Bio

I got the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in December 2018 from Università degli Studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" under the supervision of Prof. Olga Polverino with a thesis entitled Linear codes and Galois geometries: between two worlds.

Since December 1, 2023, I am Assistant Professor (tenure track - rtdb) at Department of Mathematics and Physics of Università degli Studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli".

In 2025, I obtained my Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale for full professor (Settore Concorsuale 01/A2) from the Italian Ministero dell'Istruzione dell'Università e della ricerca.

Also, I am a member of Galois geometries and their applications research group (Galois geometries and their applications).

My research lies at the intersection of finite geometry, algebra and coding theory, with particular emphasis on rank-metric codes, linear sets and scattered subspaces. I am also interested in emerging connections with information theory, algebraic graph theory, matrix factorization and data-driven methods.
