Galois geometries and their applications

Overview

The research group is affiliated to Department of Mathematics and Physics of Università degli Studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli".

Our research is devoted to finite geometries over finite fields, algebraic curves, incidence geometries and linear codes. Most recently, we investigated the following topics:

semifields and related structures;
PN and APN functions;
blocking sets in projective spaces;
linear sets;
rank metric codes;
characterization of classical algebraic variety;
decodability issue for linear codes;
polynomials over finite fields.
