Mad June Hares!
In early June we found ourselves in a field near Ancaster with twenty -four hares running around, chasing, fighting, doing hare yoga - a bit of everything. Thanks to Sue Cross whose reference photo was rather better than mine!

Moonlighting
Badgers off on late winter adventures beneath a full moon. Good consistant views of badgers are a bit of nostalgia - a strong visual memory for me. Whilst living in Sussex and also on the Somerset border we had places we could reliably go to watch active setts. I wonder how many remain - or lie empty after the disgraceful culling. So glad it is being ended
