Homo Cannabis

Despite the quest for cures to humanity’s ailments, government has discourage efforts to find medical uses of the cannabis plant and its hybrid, marijuana. Yet some cannabinoids have shown promise in curing serious illnesses and diseases. Due to the power of big money over government, large corporations do not want competition. So, they seek whatever means they can to dissuade competition even if it means harming businesses, individuals and families to protect their insatiable appetites of greed and avarice.
A problem plaguing medical research is the body’s rejection of foreign substances even though such substances are beneficial to the recipient.
Last week a team of Mexican doctors, led by a Dr. Carlos Gutierrez, had experimented with combining human and cannabis DNA. Their goal was to develop an artificial skin from the cannabis plant that could be used to treat burn victims.
The doctors had contact with some of the Mexican drug cartels that had developed a marijuana plant that grew twice as fast on much less land and produced a larger amount of the cannabinoid THC, marijuana and other cannabinoids.. The plant was also resistant to chemicals to destroy it. The plant’s root was unaffected by the chemicals and would grow back within a couple of months. The only way the plant could be destroyed was to dig up the roots and burn them.
The doctors discovered that by taking the skin DNA of the burn victim, combining it with cannabis DNA they could produce cannabis cellulose that had the properties of human skin. By using the drug cartel’s growing method, such a plant was ready for harvesting in a few weeks.
After harvesting and processing the plant, the doctors were able to produce cannabis cellulose that was genetically compatible with the burn victim’s skin. The grafts were applied, and within days the victim’s skin began to grow. The cannabis cellulose combined with the victim’s own skin so that it appeared as if the skin had never been burned. It looked and felt a lot like natural human skin.
The doctor’s also discovered that by using certain components of a person’s DNA, a more generic plant could grow cellulose that was compatible with 95% of all other people’s skin. In cases where a person’s body rejected the generic skin cannabis cellulose, doctors could use the person’s own skin DNA and within a few weeks, grow, process and manufacture a plant that produced a cannabis cellulose that matched the victim’s DNA. It proved to be successful.
These discoveries inspired the Mexican medical community to begin experimenting with other body parts. Bone grafts became the next object of interest. Using the same technique, orthopedic doctors were able to produce a cellulose bone that could be used to replace steel rods that are sometimes used in a person who suffers a broken leg.
A famous Mexican soccer player had suffered such a broken leg in a soccer match. The break was so severe that the doctors advised him that he would never be able to play soccer again. The young man was crushed as he had lived and played soccer all his life, and was considered one of the world’s best.
The doctors told him of their experiments with cannabis cellulose and that while it had never been tried on humans, they said they would be willing to try it on him. The worst-case scenario would be that if it didn’t work, the doctors would have to take the cellulose bone replacement out and replace it with a traditional steel rod. However, that would likely end his soccer career. The Mexican doctors did point out though that the steel-rod procedure had been used successfully in the United States with football players who were then able to continue their football careers.
The young man said, “Give me a day or two to think and pray about it.” The doctors said OK.
The doctors explained to the young man that, if the cannabis cellulose were used and it proved successful, he would not have to take immune-suppressing drugs as is usually done with those who have artificial bone and joint replacement surgery and other precautions as well.
Later that evening when one of the doctors came to see how the young man was doing, he told the doctor that he was willing to go ahead with the cannabis cellulose bone replacement surgery. The doctors had already taken some of his DNA when he came into the hospital and had started growing a cannabis plant containing his DNA.
Within a couple of weeks the doctors grew a cannabis plant whose cellulose matched the DNA of the soccer player. Shortly thereafter, they processed and produced a cannabis cellulose bone replacement material. When they were ready for surgery, the doctors were planning to re-break the bone. However, in preparing the cannabis cellulose, the doctors made it into a thick gooey substance that they would inject into a small opening drilled into the patient’s bone. If that worked, it wouldn’t be necessary to re-break the bone or to insert a rod.
The material was injected into the bone. The surgery was successful. There were a few days of waiting to see if the cannabis cellulose glue would take. By the end of the week the doctors found that the cellulose glue had worked and the body wasn’t rejecting it. They also discovered that this cellulose glue began adhering to the inside of the bone and absorbed into the bone itself. Bone marrow was also being produced in bone.
By the week’s end, the young man was up walking around and going to physical therapy to get his leg and muscles back into condition to support his weight and movements. He was discharged from the hospital but continued therapy. Soon he was able to start kicking a soccer ball around. Last report was that he had returned to his soccer team and was resuming his soccer career without any apparent adverse side effects.
The United States government was watching this development with interest. The Drug Enforcement Administration was aghast that such medical marvels could be performed with the cannabis plant. The official position of the U.S. government is that cannabis is of no medical value.
Watching with even more interest were the military at Area 51 in Nevada. What they had discovered with the bodies of the extraterrestrials was that they were a sentient being with a body more vegetative than mammalian. They had also discovered that the DNA of the extraterrestrials closely matched the DNA of the cannabis plant.
The question they were pondering was, Could human and cannabis DNA be combined and produce a sentient being that had a body that for all intents and purposes, was vegetative? This of course was something that the military did not want to let out for fear the public would never tolerate such experimentation.
But the prospects were alluring. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was also watching this with interest. In contemplating intergalactic space travel, the question was, how could sentient beings be accommodated for intergalactic space travel that might take centuries to reach an intended destination? Could a human-cannabis DNA sentient being be created that could lie dormant for centuries and at some future time be awakened and still have the intellectual capacity to know where it came from, where it was going, and resume the functions to accomplish the mission at the targeted destination? Such ideas were intriguing.
Could these sentient beings be like the gods and create other beings like themselves? Would they be able to find soil to provide food for those sentient being to eat? Would these human-cannabis sentient beings be immortal or would they too eventually die? These are some of the questions that have yet to be answered.
Other questions arose of course. For example, how could this human-cannabis sentient being reproduce? Would it require sexual reproduction? If so, how long would it take, and how would it be incubated? If not, what other ways might sentient human-cannabis beings reproduce? More questions arose. What would these human-cannabis sentient beings do for sex? Is the only purpose of sex for reproduction? Or does it have some other emotional function that binds sentient beings together? If they’re asexual, the question becomes how did they replace the old? All of nature seems to go through a cycle of birth and death be it plant or animal or even the universe itself. This was an issue because the cannabis plant can be male and female. It can also be hermaphrodite.
These questions are paramount since the Area 51 people have never come forth with any information about the reproductive life of the extraterrestrial sentient beings (or their bodies). Are these extraterrestrial being sexual or asexual?
Producing young seem to be necessary in all of nature for all species and societies of sentient beings to progress. Yet it would seem that if sentient beings had eternal life, they would soon stagnate and become “stuck in their ways” as so often happens far too often with elderly earthlings.
In this scenario death is almost a requisite for the survival of the species. Even the cannabis plant grows quickly, is harvested and left to decay until its remains can be used for a variety of purposes. Its seeds ensure a new population. The result is a plant that evolves very quickly, which may account for its long-lasting survival on planet earth. Does it also live elsewhere in the universe? This was especially cogent since the earlier DNA findings of the extraterrestrials suggest that it does. If so, it does have an eternal life, not as an individual, but only as a species?
CHAPTER II - Homo Cannabis
Thus, efforts to create a human-cannabis sentient being by combining human DNA with cannabis DNA was being aggressively pursued in Russia, China, India, Spain, Great Britain and Mexico in addition to the U.S. Dr. Carlos Gutierrez had contacted a number of researchers in these countries. They formed what was called Comité International (CI). This committee agreed to establish a research agenda as to how they would go about addressing some of the problems they might encounter in combining cannabis DNA with human DNA.
Efforts to create an asexual sentient being largely met with failure in all countries pursuing this research. Word leaked out in the U.S., and religious fundamentalists railed vehemently against such research. They harassed the Congress, inveighed against it from just about every pulpit in the land. The project was being funded from the “Black Box Budget” in the U.S. so Congresspersons could assure their constituents that such a project was not being funded by the federal budget. They assured their constituents that such talk was all rumor and hearsay.
The Russian government began getting flack from its commingled Russian Orthodox Church, accusing the government of trying to play god. That was essentially the same message that was being proclaimed in countries where religious fundamentalism remains politically strong. For example, ayatollahs of Muslim nations were likewise vehemently opposed to such research. Imams at mosques throughout the Islamic world inveighed against godless, secular governments that were conducting such research. It was viewed as a threat to their patriarchy-controlled and commingled religion and state.
Separation of church and state in the U.S. was taking a beating. Religious fundamentalists sought ways to circumvent the U.S. government’s constitutional amendment known as the First Amendment. However, repealing it soon became their political agenda. They sought to destroy the principle of separation of church and state, soul liberty or freedom of conscience as well as freedom of speech, press, religion and freedom to peaceably assemble, and to redress government for of grievances. They claimed the First Amendment amounted to government interference into their religious beliefs.
In any event, research continued in government facilities worldwide, with all governments claiming that it was necessary for the sake of national security. Researchers worldwide had contact with one another. Soon the CI reached a consensus that it would be better to try to achieve a human-cannabis being that would sexually reproduce. The CI reached this consensus as computer models were showing that in combining cannabis DNA and human DNA that the sexual reproduction method would be dominant.
Results were mixed. Cannabis DNA was mixed with sperm. Sperm with cannabis DNA was put into female ova much like is done with stem cell research. Fertilized ova were planted in volunteer women who would agree to bear and raise the children in a nurturing and loving environment. If flawed specimens developed in the womb, the woman pre-agreed to an abortion. Both the women and researchers could terminate a pregnancy via abortion.
From earlier studies scientists had developed a method of counting the human and cannabis DNA factors and had fairly accurately calculated which combinations would likely lead to a successful birth. As a result, very few abortions were performed. Those that became necessary were often attributed to a flaw in the developing ova. The most common was that the womb would slough off a developing zygote, resulting in it becoming detached. It amounted to a miscarriage. Ectopic pregnancies happened but were rare.
Later, males with sperm containing cannabis DNA engaged in sexual intercourse with volunteer females. Pregnancies resulted.
Most came to term and were birthed, producing interesting results. Some were born clearly intersexed. They would have both male and female reproductive organs. A species that clearly appeared to be male from a human perspective would have ovaries in the scrotum, and testes where ovaries would be. In all other aspects these early births appeared to be either distinctively male, given skeletal and muscular structures, or distinctively female. Also, all had a vagina and uterus. All urinated through the penis. The penis had spines and foreskin.
In nearly all cases their skin had different hues of brownish-green. If the host mother were predominantly of Negro origin the skin would have a dark brownish-green hue. Indian researchers often reported similar results, as did Mexican and with their Moreno-toned-skins volunteers. So did Chinese researchers.
If the host mother were Caucasian, the skin would be a lighter shade of buff-green. An advantage occurred with these skin shades. The cannabis DNA provided the skin with a feature that filtered out ultraviolet radiation. The results were that there were no skin sunburns, nor were sunscreens required. This was considered to be a valuable asset for intergalactic travel where exposure to solar radiation could be a problem.
The skin produced an oily substance that helped maintain body temperature at about 99° F. The oil also had antibacterial properties. Skin irritations were minimal and the oily substance had insect repellent properties. This oily substance reduced mouth decay as well as reduced plaque buildup on the teeth.
Researchers avoided circumcision of the foreskin as the antibacterial properties of the oil discouraged the growth of bacteria under the foreskin, which covered about two-thirds of the glans penis. The foreskin could be retracted easily and rinsed or wiped off to remove any debris that may have gotten under the foreskin and into the spines. The spines were flaccid when the penis was not erect. When the penis was erect so were the spines. The spines were about an eighth of an inch long during erection at the corona and decreased in size down the glans. Homo Cannabis did not practice circumcision. The foreskin came down and provided protection to the spines.
The breasts resembled those of the host mother. The male genitalia resembled that of the donor father. No one appeared to be particularly more endowed than the other. In the male, genitalia differences in length and width were measured in just a few millimeters. Testicles were of about the same average size as human males.
After several generations, scientists were able to commingle cannabis DNA in female ova in women who volunteered for the experiments. They would engage in sexual intercourse with volunteer males whose sperm also had cannabis DNA. Nearly all offspring were born hermaphrodite. However, the majority had the right organs in the right place. Males had testicles in the scrotum and females had ovaries correctly located in the pelvis, one on each side of the uterus. They functioned properly as testicles and ovaries.
As these grew to adulthood all had menstrual cycles, but a male/female could impregnate each other. It didn’t seem to bother either party that during sexual intercourse they came in contact with one another. In these times of arousal both would ejaculate semen. The impregnator’s semen would go into the vagina of the host. The host’s semen would ejaculate, usually in the abdominal region of both parties. Their bodies’ own oil coupled with the semen tended to heighten sexual arousal.
Clearly these sentient beings had definite human proportions, as well as hands, feet, fingers, toes, legs, arms, ears, eyes, nose and lips. All had hair on their heads, but facial hair was soft like down. Bodily hair was similar. The CI agreed to the term “Homo Cannabis” to name this new species of sentient being.
Scientists applied the term “androgyne” to these Homo Cannabis who had both male and female reproductive organs and yet could reproduce sexually. Nor was it uncommon for these Homo Cannabis to engage in what would traditionally been called homosexual acts by Homo Sapiens, either as males or females. These were not frequent but did occur.
All Homo cannabis urinated through the penis. The anus was correctly located and functioned like a human. The vagina was located between the scrotum and anus.
The digestive system functioned like a human except Homo cannabis could eat just about anything and did, including grasshoppers and other such types of insects usually prepared much like seafood. Their bodies could store food for extended periods and they could go without eating for extended periods. Their need for water was not as great as Homo Sapiens
It was also found that these Homo cannabis could hibernate for extended periods. This seemed to have no adverse effect on their intellectual capabilities or any other bodily functions. Since there was no eating during these periods of hibernation, there was no bowel waste produced. The urea was recycled during periods of hibernation.
Homo Cannabis didn’t have to hibernate, but would if they became ill. Their resistance to disease and infections that plague Homo Sapiens seldom affected Homo cannabis.
Homo Cannabis could withstand extremes in heat and cold. Homo Cannabis skin was soft like human but was dense like the stalks of the hemp plant. They eschewed clothing. This of course caused consternation among Homo Sapiens, particularly those of a more fundamentalist religious bent. However, they did wear shoes, generally however, preferring sandal-type footwear.
In cold weather Homo Cannabis’ bodies developed a membrane covering that was light buff in color although the underlying brownish-green skin tint could be seen through it. It was like another skin. It could adjust rather quickly to the surrounding temperature almost instantly.
It had the capacity to grow thicker in cold climates and could generate a fair amount of heat so long as there was lighting. It functioned like a solar heating panel. Artificial lighting and lighting from fire could heat the body likewise but not as efficiently nor as rapidly as sunlight.
This solar skin membrane could generate enough heat so that Homo cannabis could withstand temperatures at the article circle of -40° F. However, in such climates they would wear insulated hemp boots. If the temperature dropped below that they would don insulated hemp parkas.
As long as some skin area got light, the solar skin membrane would generate heat throughout the body to maintain their body temperature at 99° F. Even light from fluorescent lanterns onto the face alone could generate sufficient heat to keep them warm.
In warm weather the membrane would flake off. Homo cannabis would use a soft bristled brush or would towel their bodies off and it would be back to their underlying basic skin. In either case they appeared fully naked by Homo Sapien standards. By Homo Cannabis standards, they were naturally attired.
Homo Cannabis had a knack for learning different languages. Within a very few days an English-speaking Homo Cannabis living in Russia, China, India or Mexico would acquire proficiency in that language as though it were the Homo Cannabis “mother tongue.” Nor did they forget their mother tongue or the learned language. The same was true of those who came to live in the US from Russia, India, Spain, China or Mexico.
Intellectually Homo Cannabis excelled. By the time they were in their early teens they were doing college level calculus, physics, and the life sciences. They were masters at understanding technology and program writing. Their engineering skills were extraordinary and were masters at geometry. They developed computers that were made from the cellulose of the hemp plant, including the circuitry. Overheating was never a problem with these hemp computers. Small hand-held computers were faster than the largest and fastest supercomputers. Enormous amounts of data could be processed in short periods of time instead of days or weeks.
Homo cannabis were masters at developing systems of wealth distribution that struck fear into the hearts of the avaricious and greedy Homo Sapiens. Homo Cannabis had a concept that wealth could be distributed much like seeds to birds so that no one would ever be poor. They had developed an economic system and the mathematics for it, showing how wealth could be proportionally collected and distributed. They also demonstrated that wealth is infinite. For them, money was nothing more than digitized abstractions called numbers. Needless to say, this alarmed all the governments involved as they all thought that their economic and monetary systems were the best the world had ever seen.
But the CI’s experiments developing a sentient being composed of human and cannabis DNA was taking researchers in a direction they hadn’t contemplated nor particularly desired. Pandora’s box had been opened, and all the kings’ horses and all the kings’ men couldn’t put Humpty-Dumpty back together again.
Further, scientists appeared to be developing a sentient being that could apparently go on extended intergalactic space flights, and could colonize other worlds. Homo Cannabis was very open this this idea. As their population grew, albeit slowly, they had even come up with theories that there were sentient beings in other worlds similar to themselves.
Homo Cannabis contended that their progenitors had developed a self-sustaining DNA that could hitch a ride on amino acids that could come to earth via meteors and meteorites composed of rock, ice or a variety of other materials some of which are more commonly referred to as rare earth elements. Such DNA could survive being sucked into a black hole or emerge if and when a new universe might be created from a collapsed star.
Many of these Homo Cannabis are now working in their respective countries’ space and other science programs. Researchers were trying to develop the best way, and the best craft, to embark upon such extended travel and still maintain life so that when the destination was reached, they would be able to awaken or resurrect and continue to carry out functions at their new destinations.
Homo Cannabis were not particularly nationalistic. As far as they were concerned they were citizens of the universe and of whatever planet they happened to be on.
Homo Sapiens’ sexual lusts aroused strong sexual attraction to these Homo Cannabis. Rape was rare unless the Homo Cannabis were in an estrous moment and would engage in sex with the Homo Sapiens. However, rather than a heterosexual encounter, the Homo Cannabis would engage in oral sex on the Homo Sapiens penis or vagina, quickly bringing him to climax. Because of Homo Cannabis superior strength (even the dominant females had extraordinary physical strength) rape was rare. Sometimes, and more often than not, the Homo Cannabis would insert its penis into the mouth of the rapist, ejaculating its semen into the rapists’ mouth. Homo Sapiens-Homo Cannabis rapes such as these were rare.
Homo Cannabis were somewhat clannish although they were accepting of Homo Sapiens and readily welcomed them into their society. Social gatherings between Homo Sapiens and Homo Cannabis were frequent and were generally enjoyed by all.
Homo Cannabis had an insatiable sense of curiosity and humor. They claimed these attributes were as essential to survival of a species and were as necessary as any of the physical senses. Satisfying their intellectual curiosity was more gratifying than sexual activity. Forcible sex among Homo Cannabis was rare if at all. That seemed to be more of a problem with Homo Sapiens.
Homo Cannabis estrous cycle could turn on or off depending on the population size and the availability of food. If this estrous cycle were not in effect, sexual activity was minimal. Such sexual activity was either self-administered or an occasional dalliance in some same-sex activity, and these more so among adolescents. Adult Homo Cannabis regarded this more or less as a passing adolescent fad.
Homo Cannabis could and did interbreed with humans. In the case of the paternal Homo Cannabis and the maternal Homo Sapien, the offspring would be born either male or female but not both. It would not be hermaphrodite. Its sexual features were like that of a Homo Sapien. It would usually be either male or female, and would have the proper genitalia depending on which it was. However, its sexual orientation was just as opportunistic as its Homo Cannabis father. The same pattern occurred in the case of a maternal Homo Cannabis and Homo Sapien father. The Homo Sapien trait of gender dysphoria was also evident in a significant number of these offsprings. It was assumed to be a normal function of Homo Sapiens.
Homo Cannabis seldom if ever bore any offspring with any kind of disability. It was discovered that they had what would be considered an inoculation system that protected them from producing such an offspring. Their DNA had developed a checking mechanism that scanned sperm as it was being produced. If a DNA cluster of sperm were detected with flawed links or switches, such sperm would be destroyed and removed from the body either through ejaculation or absorbed and discharged through the body’s waste system.
Female ovaries had a similar mechanism that, if it detected a cluster of DNA that had flawed links or switches, it too would be ejected mostly through the body’s waste system. If a zygote or fetus were found carrying a potentially “challenged” condition, the DNA would attack it and immediate stop cell division. Then it would begin the process of dissolving the remaining zygote or fetus. If the fetus had developed to the point that gristle was being formed to produce bone, the attacking DNA vaccine would induce a miscarriage and the remaining material would pass from the host female’s body.
This reduced the possibility of producing such an offspring. But perchance a flawed fetus started developing this mechanism would eject it out of the body. Hence, no births occurred that would be considered “challenged.” There were no incidences of Autism, Down's syndrome, ADHD, blindness, deafness and other physical and mental disabilities found among Homo Cannabis offspring.
Homo Sapien doctors were trying to isolate this inoculation feature to see if a vaccine could be developed to inoculate Homo Sapiens with this same attribute. It was theorized that if such a vaccine could be found it would combine with the Homo Sapiens DNA. It would then be passed on to succeeding generations.
CHAPTER III - SPIRITUALITY
Homo Cannabis had a sense of a Higher Power. They said it is a collective consciousness of all sentient beings throughout the cosmos. They sometimes referred to this as a Cosmic Collective Consciousness or just 3C. Generally they regarded the universe as their creator and the creator of all things material and immaterial.
Their religious practices, such as they were, involved a lot of music and philosophical readings and discussions. Their assemblies resembled a mixture of Quaker and Unitarian with a lot of rhythmic music and dancing. The atmosphere was more expressive and convivial. Artistic dancing occurred frequently in their assemblies. Due to their more highly developed sense of humor laughter was common in these assemblies.
Homo Cannabis had a sense of being in tune with what they called the music of the spheres. They claimed this heightened their sense of oneness with all things throughout the universe.
Homo Cannabis became familiar with religious literature that many Homo Sapiens called scripture. Homo Cannabis made no such distinction between such literatures. They would include readings from various religious and other secular documents that expressed views they considered universal, social and inclusive.
Homo Cannabis claimed that because of their awareness of coming from other planets and perhaps even other universes, their religion was more of a sense of oneness with all things particularly throughout the universe or often multiverses as many of them believed.
Religious beliefs did not divide them, and they had a high toleration for, and encouraged, diversity of opinion about everything. They strongly supported the concept of separation of religion and the political state. They felt that such a commingling was detrimental to the advancement of sentient beings everywhere—not just on planet earth.
Homo Cannabis believed that each living entity--Homo Sapien, Homo Cannabis and even plants and animals--had a sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves or their group or species. The contended that even material matter also had a spirit or soul. They contended that these views were the product of consciousness, which they claimed was what many Homo Sapiens call the soul or spirit. They claimed that this soul/spirit does not pre-exist within a living entity until after birth and the entity has an “awakening” experience; it’s also what is called imprinting in infants.
Homo Cannabis said that based on their reading of Homo Sapiens religious literature that such literature supported their view that soul and spirit were synonymous. They cited Ecclesiastes 3:18-21:
18 I know that God is testing us to show us that we are merely animals. 19 Like animals we breathe and die, and we are no better off than they are. It just doesn’t make sense. 20 All living creatures go to the same place. We are made from earth, and we return to the earth. 21 Who really knows if our spirits go up and the spirits of animals go down into the earth?
Homo Cannabis pointed out that these writings pertained more to Homo Sapiens than Homo Cannabis who were not on Earth at the time of these writings. They pointed out that Homo Sapiens, while having the capacity to reason were not reasonable.
Homo Cannabis said that Homo Sapiens are animals who had evolved into hybrid-sentient beings. They claim that the religious and other literature supports their view. Presently, Homo Sapiens are only at the infancy of this evolutionary process.
The imprinting of an animal to its mother is one such soul/spirit awakening in the animal world. The same holds true for dogs. It bonds with its mother but can have multiple awakenings as for example when it is weaned and becomes a member of a pack or a pack of Homo Sapiens.
Homo Cannabis said the same holds true for plants. They thrive better when they are among a group. Plant lovers and botanists often claim they can communicate their love to a plant and it will thrive better. Some claim to receive loving vibes from their plants.
Humans likewise have similar awakening experiences. A Homo Sapiens or Homo Cannabis child, when it bonds or imprints with its mother or its first recognizable caregiver, has a soul/spirit awakening experience. Awakening experiences can occur again with the onset of hormones. Some Homo Sapiens religions even claim there are subsequent “fillings” that can manifest in a variety of ways.
Homo Cannabis’ view a “religious” experience, which some Christians call “born again” as another example of a soul/spirit awakening. The concept of “eternal life” or life after death, is viewed as another soul/spirit awakening moment.
Homo Cannabis refer to these awakenings as soulish/spiritual moments. Hence, living entities, particularly Homo Sapiens feel that they always have and possess a soul/spirit. Homo Cannabis generally believes that living entities don’t have a permanent soul/spirit.
The awakening moment doesn’t manifest until after birth. It doesn’t create an eternal soul/spirit nor does it go somewhere after death. Those awakening moments slowly vanish with the passing of time or when memory fades or a brain injury is sustained that renders those soul/spirit awakenings as forgotten or non-existent. This may also occur as sentient beings age.
Homo Cannabis seem to have an excellent memory collection of their past even to that of originating from other universes. While they don’t have names to link to specific individuals or specific events, they seem to have a link to understanding their DNAs’ origins.
Homo Cannabis’ contended that the entire cosmos has always existed. It is eternal. The collapsing and exploding of stellar matter and other gaseous materials are how new universes are created.
Homo Cannabis’ view of god was that the concept of god is a creation of Homo Sapiens. For all intents and purposes Homo Sapiens are gods as are all sentient beings. They cited John 10:34-35 a saying attributed to one called Jesus:
34 In your Scriptures doesn’t God say, “You are gods”? 35 You can’t argue with the Scriptures, and God spoke to those people and called them gods.
The character Jesus intrigued Homo Cannabis. They felt that the stories about him and some of his more intellectual, social and inclusive views about other people made it appear as though he might have had some Homo Cannabis intellectual/social attributes.
They were never clear as to whether he was an actual historical figure or a creation of a clever writer who made a fictitious character appear to be real, functioning in a particular historical place and time. Homo Cannabis were never quite sure how he seemed to have some of their intellectual/social attributes yet still maintain his Homo Sapien appearing body, assuming artists’ conceptions of his appearance are reliable. They pointed out that there are no actual drawings or paintings of an historical Jesus.
Homo Cannabis wondered if the virgin birth story was a mythological explanation of some of their progenitors having visited earth at that time and were able to plant some of the Homo Cannabis intellectual/social DNA attributes in him while in the womb.
Homo Cannabis rejected the literal interpretation of a virgin birth. If Jesus were an historical figure, they felt that Mary and Joseph were his biological parents. Such a visitation by their progenitors would have been what Homo Sapiens call extraterrestrials or ETs.
Homo Cannabis also cited the Gospel of Phillip. They claimed his view supported their view that Homo Sapiens preexisted before the concept of god and were the ones who actually created what Homo Sapiens call god.
Philip wrote: “Men create God. That is the way it is in the world - men make gods and worship their creation. It would be fitting for the gods to worship men!”
But the concept of god got twisted resulting in the stories that god created Homo Sapiens as most religious literature presents.
Homo Sapien ruffians would take control of a group. They commandeered the concept of god claiming to be that god. They developed scribes who were told to write stories about how god created them and anointed them as their leader to be their god-appointed master to whom the underlings had to swear fealty to. Failure to do so was certain death. Religious literature is full of examples of this kind of political societies.
Homo Cannabis pointed out that Homo Sapiens’ history of religious persecution is a disgraceful stain and a serious impediment to a more rapid evolutionary development of Homo Sapiens’ intellectual/social understanding. They pointed out that unfortunately in much of the world today this serious impediment thrives. They pointed out that based on the religious literature and the theologies of Homo Sapiens, such attitudes should be called diabolic.
Homo Cannabis also die. Their grief experience is much like that of their Homo Sapien counterparts except that it doesn’t seem to last as long. Homo Cannabis claim that their sense of oneness with all things in some way still connects them with their progenitors, deceased and living.
Cremation seems to be their preferred method of disposition of the decedent’s remains. Burial at sea is OK too, but interment inside a container is viewed as being in conflict with nature.
