Sci Fi Dream
Friday night (6/8/2012) or early Saturday (6/9/2012) morning, I had a strange dream. I dreamed I was standing out in a field watching some strange aircraft come in for a landing. It was like a helicopter with skids and was maroon and black in color. It had no props. As I watched it come to a stop, the door opened. I heard a voice say:
“You get out first.”
The first person to step out was me! As I stepped down and put my foot on the ground, as if testing it, I was no longer an outside observer but was actually the one coming out of the plane first. It was like I went into that body that looked like me. I said to the group still onboard the aircraft:
“It’s OK. The atmosphere is a lot like earth’s. We can adapt to it, but it’ll be easier for your younger people to adapt than for us older ones.”
The grass was a dark green, not very high, and some flowers were blooming that were a deep, dark purple, and were only a few inches high.
Soon everybody else got off the plane. We looked, and in the distance, perhaps about 100 yards or so, we saw a town that looked like it had been completely destroyed. The group (of 9 people) walked towards it and we came to a wall. We walked along one side of the wall. That wall was a brilliant golden color. I don’t know if it was real gold or not. When we came to the end of the wall someone in the group said, “You look around first.” So I did. When I saw that it was all clear, we rounded the wall’s end and started walking back along the other side.
We came to what looked like an old phone booth with an aluminum side sticking about 3 feet out from the wall, and a cord hanging down but no phone receiver attached to it. There was same graffiti on the wall, and I said to the group:
“It looks like some teens have been here.”
It was getting about dusk although not very dark so we headed back to where our plane landed. As we got back we decided that since the temperature was mild we would sleep outside. We took out of the plane what looked like lawn chairs. Some of the guys said we’ll watch a video. While they were getting the TV screen setup, some of the girls found an old TV set with rabbit ears antenna. So they hooked it up and a weather newscast was on. It was in color, but the picture kept fading in and out. However, we did hear the announce saying,
“If you look up in the sky you’ll see our three moons passing overhead. There’s a thin cloud cover, but you can still see the three moons.”
He named the names of the moons but I didn’t catch them. Then the TV went dark.
I looked up into the sky and sure enough I saw the three moons passing overhead. They were large round objects, but not as big around as earth’s moon, nor apparently as far away as they were moving rapidly across the sky.
As I looked up I saw a long panoply of stars that resembled the Milky Way. But as I looked, I said:
“That’s not our Milky Way! It’s bigger, wider and closer. We’re in another galaxy!”
Nobody said anything.
So I settled back into the chair. It became very quiet. Then I heard the sound of music playing. I said:
“I hear music!”
Nobody said a thing. So I said,
“I’m going to go see where that music is coming from.”
No one said anything.
I got up and started walking towards the music. Soon I was out of sight of our camp. I kept on walking along a path until I came to an aluminum stairs. I could hear the music come from upstairs. The stairs wasn’t attached to anything that I could see, so I went up the top of the steps and came to a wooden door. I listened and could hear music coming from the other side of the door. I knocked on the door but no one answered. So I turned the knob and the door opened, so I went in.
Inside the door was a tall woman 6½ to 7 feet, with long brown hair whose skin has a bluish tint to it. She was wearing a sequin-type dress. She was the Master of Ceremonies of the program and was playing music. The dance floor was a balcony and when I looked down, there was nothing in the middle and I couldn’t see any bottom. Around the balcony were these avatar-looking like creatures dancing. Some had reptilian and others had animal-type facial features but other than that they looked somewhat like humans. They were on two feet (upright) and had hands and arms like humans. I was the only odd looking one in the room, but that didn’t seem to bother any of them. I said to the woman,
“Why didn’t you come out to check and see who we were or investigate what was happening?”
She didn’t answer me. She just waved her right hand behind her back as if to motion me to move on by towards the center of the room on the balcony behind her. So I did. I walked a few feet and came to a couple of steps that led to a bar. As I looked in the bar I saw all kinds of liquor bottles and three bartenders whose faces resembled a horse’s face. The light was very bright in there almost as bright as the sun. So as I stepped up on the step to go into the bar. Suddenly, it felt like I was being gently lowered into my bed by a couple of female arms. It was like I was above this scene watching it. As I rolled off the arms on my side, and my head on the pillow, I briefly awoke, recognized where I was, and continued sleeping. I didn’t wake up until the alarm went off at 7 am, Saturday morning.
When I awoke I remembered nothing about the dream. But as I was cleaning up getting myself ready to get dressed, that whole dream flashed back into my head. I said to myself:
“Wow! That was a weird dream! I wonder what that dream was all about?”
I pondered about the dream for several hours that morning because it seemed as if I had actually lived that dream. It didn’t seem dreamlike at all the more I thought about it. I forgot about it for the rest of the day, but when I went to bed Saturday night, the dream came back to me again and I couldn’t put it out of my mind and couldn’t get to sleep. It was like the dream had barriers that prevented me (consciously) from getting back into it. Finally sometime after midnight I fell asleep, but I didn’t have a recurrence of that dream. I awoke Sunday morning with that dream still on my mind. I still don’t know what to make of it. 6/10/12 12:56 PM
